Wagoner Community Hospital recently welcomed a Survival Flight Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) instructor to conduct a special training course with our nursing personnel. NRP is for emergent care of neonatal patients, especially newborns. Wagoner Heallth’s ER staff and House Supervisors are also trained to care for both mother and infant in an imminent delivery scenario. Our nurses were excited for the opportunity to participate in such a unique and necessary learning experience! We would like to say thank you to Survival Flight for providing this course free of charge, and we look forward to future training that will keep us current and proficient in such lifesaving measures!
