Kristofor J. Kalvig, DPM, AACFAS, is a foot and ankle surgical podiatric specialist. As a surgical podiatrist Dr. Kalvig has specialized training to deal with all aspects of the foot and ankle. Podiatry encompasses both pediatric and adult foot and ankle medicine. Podiatry is a specialty service that utilizes evidence-based data in the treatment of simple and complex lower extremity pathology.
Surgically, Dr. Kalvig is trained in all aspects of foot and ankle surgery including: sports related injuries, foot and ankle trauma (including fractures), wound care (diabetic foot ulcers and limb salvage), and foot reconstruction (flatfeet, bunions and hammer toes). Dr Kalvig did his residency training at William S. Middleton Memorial VA hospital in association with University of Wisconsin, Watertown area hospitals, and Marshfield Clinic – Orthopedic Trauma Center. Dr. Kalvig also practices non-surgical care including but not limited to diabetic foot care, ingrown nails, wound care, neuromas, tendonitis, plantar fasciitis, and other pathologies.
Kristofor Kalvig is dedicated to his family, is an active runner, and enjoys outdoor activities. He looks forward to treating all patients of the Wagoner Community Hospital system
