As we enter 2026, I am honored to be associated with so many healthcare associates who have an unwavering dedication to patient care. We consider it a privilege and an honor to serve our community and we value our commitment to advancing health for all.
While challenges are always present, our collective commitment to quality and service is what makes our hospital all that it is – a special network of associates whose courage, resilience and empathy are paving the path toward a better future. We look forward to receiving resources in 2026 from the Rural Health Transformation Program to strengthen the delivery of healthcare, improve outcomes for our community and improve sustainability of healthcare in Wagoner.
Our business initiatives include continued growth in hospital-affiliated primary care providers, advancing the acuity of inpatient care (meaning fewer transfers away), growth in tribal contracts and growth in surgical care. We are slated to go live with our new enterprise-wide electronic medical record/revenue cycle platform in early 2026. Always in our workplan are the measurement and improvement of quality, satisfaction and financial metrics.
