"After 35 years at Wagoner Community Hospital, I can honestly say it's more than a workplace—it's family."

– Beverly Scroggins

I’ve enjoyed working at Wagoner Community Hospital because of its family-oriented environment and the dedication and loyalty of its employees. After 35 years here—my first and only job—I can honestly say the people are what have made my career so meaningful. Over the years, many of my coworkers have become lifelong friends, making it much more than just a workplace. I believe my length of service speaks for itself about the culture of Wagoner Community Hospital.

One of the things that makes Wagoner Community Hospital so special is the care we provide close to home. Our hospital gives patients access to outpatient laboratory services, radiology, surgical procedures, inpatient medical and psychiatric care, emergency services, and specialty clinics. It’s rewarding to know our community can receive such a wide range of healthcare services without having to leave town.

I believe our patients often become like family. They receive personalized, one-on-one care from staff who enjoy working in a smaller facility and value building strong connections with the people they serve. Our employees appreciate the opportunity to care for a variety of patients, whether they’re receiving emergency care, medical services, swing bed or PCU care, detox services, or mental health treatment.

After all this time, there have simply been too many special moments to count. I’m grateful to be part of a hospital that has always put people first—both our patients and our employees—and I’m proud to continue serving the community I call home.
